Who Am I?
I am a penetester who tries to understand how things work and figure out how to make them better. Currently, my focus revolves mostly around Active Directory. I’m working towards a Diploma (who knows, maybe a BSc!) in Cybersecurity, and I’ve picked up a few industry certifications along the way, including OSWA, OSCP, CRTP, and CAPE.
I’ve only been in this field since early 2024, so expect a good amount of inaccuracies in my posts. That said, I’m always open to discussion and critical feedback if you spot something worth correcting or exploring further.
Why mollysec?
I have been keeping my notes organized at x7331.gitbook.io for a while now, and it has worked quite well as a reference guide. But I found myself wanting to dive deeper on certain topics, and Gitbook just wasn’t the right format for that kind of content.
This space, mollysec, is my attempt to address that. To serve as a place where I can write about areas I am interested in and actively learning about in more flexible format.
Oh, and mollysec? That’s named after my dog, Molly! As everyone knows, every good project needs a mascot!
